Women of the Sacred Fire

A Sweat Lodge Gathering for Mothers, Daughters, Grandmothers,
and the Daughters Yet to Come

Calling all women — mothers, daughters, grandmothers, granddaughters, daughters of mothers, and motherless daughters.

IMG_8992.JPG

You are invited to gather in a Women’s Sweat Lodge for Elders and Youth, a sacred space of remembrance, healing, and connection.

Mother and daughter team, Lorna and Samantha, offer sharing and guidance inspired by the wisdom of their ancestors, mentors, and teachers. Together they carry teachings rooted in their home of South Africa, honoring sacred ceremonial traditions including those of the Zulu and Xhosa peoples, while also acknowledging ancestral threads from Dutch, British, Mayan, Peruvian, Lakota, and Cree lineages.

Through shared prayer, story, and ceremony, these traditions come together — not as separate paths, but as a weaving. A living tapestry of cultures and ethnicities forming a beautiful patchwork of hope, love, compassion, and gratitude.

This gathering welcomes women of all generations to sit in circle, remember our shared humanity, and support one another in healing and transformation.

About:  Samantha

From kitchen fires to sacred steam — my journey has always been about nourishing others.

Guided and gifted the ways by a Lakota teacher, I now hold women’s sweat lodge ceremonies with heart and humility.

I carry this work with deep reverence, responsibility, and care for our community.

You’re warmly invited to join us in circle and healing.

About: Lorna

Bringing the Mayan teachings and ceremonies I have been initiated into to this sacred Lodge, I come in service to the sacred fire and the medicines of the earth.

Together we will awaken the heart of cacao — the gentle, uplifting spirit of this ancient plant ally — preparing it with prayer from fire to bean before sharing in this sacred drink.

As a keeper of the sacred fire in my own tradition, I will open a fire ceremony for cleansing and intention. With copal and the traditional  Samador, the fragrant smoke will rise as our prayers are carried to the unseen, inviting clarity, presence, and renewal.

LEARN

We host regular classes to learn and create unique, one of a kind art.
We offer two experiences, Create a Memory in Clay & Creating Healing Salves with Plants.

Or contact us to build a custom experience.

Hand-build a unique piece in a serene studio. Specially formulated Clay allows you to take your piece home with you. Decide what you want to create with guidance and expertise of more than 40 decades working in clay and sculpture. Take a stroll around the Native and Herbal plant gardens to collect items for texture, or to include in your sculptural piece. Follow step-by-step instructions to construct your design. This specially formulated clay will allow you to include natural stones, bone, feathers. Most classes run a period of 3 hours. A perfect amount of time for you to make your piece and get lost in the creative world. No experience necessary.

This class is designed to get you started on your herbal self-care journey, covering some of the basics. You will go home with at least 2oz of either a salve, lotion or tincture, that you can add to your home medicine cabinet, or take with you on your travels.

Build your own custom designed and fitted shoes or boots – instruction by Lorna Trigg in a small group setting at Fire Om Earth Studio. Draft, design and construction of short or full length boots, using high quality leathers.
