Backyard Medicinals - Discovery & Documentation
An informational and explorative day with Steven Foster, renowned author and photographer of Medicinal Plants and Herbs,(Petersens Guide, National Geographic)
Steven will present a slide show of medicinals common to Arkansas and guide us on an identification walk from backyard to surrounding woods, plus offer tips and tricks on photographing specimens.
What to bring: Bag lunch (or request your meal below), journal/notebook, camera, hiking shoes. Rain gear if inclement.
Fee: $30 bring a bag lunch o r$45 includes lunch
Menu: Herb infused Gluten free organic pasta and vegetables, Gluten free Buckwheat, Cornmeal bread

Sunday, April 25th - 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Plant Spirit Communication with Melissa Clare, Plant Spirit Medicine practitioner and Fire keeper in the sacred Fire Community. She trained with Eliot Cowan, author of Plant Spirit Medicine and Shaman in Huichol tradition. Melissa is also influenced by the work of Dorothy McLean (To Hear the Angels Sing and the Findhorn Garden Book) whom she met through their mutual Sufi connections in the 1980's.
