'Artist Getaway' Retreat Package
Package 1: Dorm-style accommodations are available on request, as well as a guest room in the main lodge that is available for class attendees. Prices for dorm and lodge are based on a sliding scale, evaluated with each class registration and application.
'Artist Getaway' Retreat Package
Package 2: Stay in The Artist Cottage and enjoy the comforts of home in a stimulating artistic environment. (now booking for October & November 2010)
$385 - Enjoy a two night stay in the fully furnished cottage with studio space for art, writing, meditation. You are welcome to enjoy the property - The trails and meditation areas are open to quests and participation in movement classes are offered free in the main lodge.
- Two nights rental (self-catered/full kitchen) plus
- An organic breakfast basket each morning
- Two 1 hour massages ( in our private massage room on location)
- Movement class of your choice (Mon-Thurs), see schedule)(Additional nights are $89/single and $125 double)
Art & Creativity Classes - Create your own workshops
Let us design a custom package for your during your stay in Eureka Springs. Studio time and materials fees will be determined once you choose a class. Off campus classes and practitioner session fees can also be quoted and scheduled for you.
Choose from these offerings designed to meet your needs. Most require a minium of nine (9) hours of studio time which can be divided over a few days to a week long exploration:

Fire Om Earth Studio Classes:
Clay, handbuilding techniques, tile making, mold making, raku , paper clay for sculptures
Stain Glass - design, glass cutting, foiling, soldering, construction
Mosaic - in tile or glass, design and construction
Jewelry making - wire bending technique, design and construction of strung beads, seed bead peyote stitch and Southern African technique (useful for creating a smudge fan or covering a sacred object).
Working with precious metals, silver, copper, brass. Design, cutting, filing, soldering, bezel setting.Drum Building - Building a hoop frame in wood or a clay body. Construction. Choosing a skin, stretching a head.
Flute Making - Bamboo Transverse flute - choosing your bamboo, placing finger and mouth holes, tuning, finishes.
Ocarina - Constructing the whistle flute body in clay, cutting a fipple and finger holes, tuning, finishes.
Water color - techniques and application, composition, values.
Shoe making - learn how to create a crafted leather shoe of your own design and to fit your foot perfectly.
