The name Udu is derived from the Aftrican Ibo tribal langauage, meaning pottery.
Double spout clay vessel drum. Played by alternating palm strikes over the opening of spouts, resulting in a low, water popping sound. Also drummed on the body. Great with didges, frame drums, flutes or other folk instruments. Carved mythical design. 9" H x 11" W

This Tree of Life design udu with goat skin head is two drums in one - Double spout clay vessel drum, played by alternating palm strikes over the opening of spouts, resulting in a low, water popping sound.
